Section 1335.09 Storm and Screen Doors and Windows. The owner of a rental unit <br /> is responsible for providing and hanging all screens and storm doors and storm <br /> windows required under. Section 1335. <br /> Section 1335.10 Responsibility for Pest Extermination. Every occupant of a single- <br /> family dwelling is responsible for the extermination of vermin infestations and/or <br /> rodents on the premises. Other dwelling occupants are responsible for such <br /> extermination if their unit is the only one infested. If infestation is caused by the <br /> failure of the owner to maintain a dwelling in a rodent-proof condition, <br /> extermination is the responsibility of the owner. If infestation exists in two or more <br /> units in one dwelling, or in the shared or public parts of a dwelling, extermination <br /> is the responsibility or the owner. <br /> Section 1335.11 Rodent Harborages. No occupant may accumulate boxes, lumber, <br /> scrap metal or other materials which may provide a rodent harborage or provide <br /> food for rodents. <br /> Section 1335.12 Minimum Heating. In every dwelling unit or rooming unit when <br /> the control of the supplied heat is the responsibility of a person other than the <br /> occupant, the supply must be zoned controlled and at a temperature of at least 68 <br /> degrees Tahrenheit or such lesser temperature required by government authority, <br /> maintained at a distance of three feet above the floor and three feet from exterior <br /> walls in all habitable rooms, bathrooms, and toilet rooms. <br /> Section 1335.13 Removal of Snow'and Ice. The owner of an apartment building is <br /> responsible for the removal of snow and ice from parking lots, driveways, steps and <br /> walkways on the premises. Individual snowfalls of three inches or more, or <br /> successive snowfalls accumulating to a depth of three inches, must be removed <br /> from parking lots and driveways within 24 hours after cessation of the snowfall. <br /> Individual snowfalls of one inch or more, or successive snowfalls accumulating to a <br /> depth of one inch, must be removed from steps and walkways within 16 hours after <br /> cessation of the snowfall. <br /> Section 1335.14 Drives, Parkin. The owner of an apartment building must provide <br /> and maintain effective illumination in all exterior parking lots and walkways, <br /> parking areas and driveways. <br /> Section 1335.15 Basic Equipment and Facilities.
