POLICY IMPLICATIONS: The St. Anthony water plan fin-thers the Metropolitan Council's goal of adequate water supply planning contained in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area Water Supply:A Man For Action, and partially fidM the legislative mandate for plan preparation. FUNDING IMPLICATIONS: None. PREVIOUS ACTIONS: None relative to water supply. DISCUSSION: Technical comments were prepared by Council staff according to the content guidelines. The plan portrays a My developed community that has rebounded from a major service disruption caused by contamination of its groundwater source. Technical comments reflect the Comcil's interest in seeing a.more visible conservation program; in dedicating a section of the plan to policies, objectives and standards; and in reformatting the emergency plan to be more easily accessible. RECONEMMATIONMhat the Metropolitan Council transmit the technical comments to the Village of St. Anthony and the Minnesota Departraent of Natural Resources.
