The proposed conditional use is a church support <br /> facility, a listed allowable use within a R-1 Zoning District. <br /> The proposed Gathering Space is located within the interior of the campus between and <br /> connecting the existing Church and existing Convent. The facility is further screened on <br /> the North and East by the existing Rectory, an existing garage, and existing shrubs. <br /> Therefore, this project will have very little, if any, negative impact on the community and <br /> neighborhood. There will be no increase in traffic, and ingress and egress will remain as <br /> exists. <br /> The Gathering Space is an important part of today's worship. Activities include meeting <br /> and greeting before Masses and fellowship following services. Other activities could <br /> include small lectures, meetings, community meetings, small social gatherings, and wakes. <br /> All activities are low keyed and will pose no concerns for the health, safety, or welfare to <br /> individuals nor injurious to property in the vicinity. <br /> Thank you for your consideration. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Gerald G.
