CALL TO ORDER. . <br /> 5 Chair Jindra called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. and welcomed everyone in attendance. <br /> 6 II. ROLL CALL. <br /> 7 Present: Chair Carol Jindra, Vice Chair Doug Koehntop, Commissioners <br /> .8 Dan Ganley, Julie Gebhardt, Colleen Hallada, Jan Jenson, and <br /> 9 George Wagner. <br /> 10 Absent: None. <br /> 11 Also present: Public Works Director Jay Hartman, Representative from <br /> 12 Community Services Diane Skrivseth, Representative from School <br /> 13 Board Denise Dunn, Representative from Sports Boosters George <br /> 14 Zurbe Y; Mau Anderson; Molly Olivier, SEH; Bob Kost, BRW <br /> Maury <br /> 15 and Augie Wong, BRW. <br /> 6 II ,I . APPROVAL OF JANUARY 29 2001 SPECIAL MEETINGS MINUTES. <br /> 7 Motion by Ganley, second by Wagner, to approve.the_.January 29, 2001.Special Meeting.Minutes <br /> 18 with the following changes: <br /> 19 Correct the name Jensen to reflect Jenson. <br /> 20 Second by Zurbey to approve the January 8, 2001 Parks Commission Minutes was made by one <br /> 21 of the Commissioners as Zurbey is a non-voting member of the Parks Commission. <br /> 22 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 23 IV. DISCUSS PAVILION AND WARMING HOUSE DESIGN—MOLLY OLIVIER FROM <br /> 24 SEH. <br /> 25 Jindra introduced Molly Olivier, SEH, to provide an update on the Pavilion and Warming House <br /> 26 Design. -Ms. Olivier began with the Central Park layout for the approval-of the Parks <br /> 27 Commission in order to move to the next phase of design development and design finishes <br /> 28 including carpet, flooring, and exterior block. Ms. Olivier reviewed the floor plan and <br /> 29 elevations, both interior and exterior. She also asked for input regarding the concession stand. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 In reviewing the floor plan, Ms. Olivier pointed out that the warming house faces the hockey rink <br /> 32 to the east with the soccer fields to the south. The vestibule and break-out area has been created <br /> 33 to have the option of usage as one room for larger groups or the capability of closing the area off <br /> j 34 with the option of renting it out to smaller groups leaving the warming house accessible. <br /> 5 <br /> 36 Ms. Olivier noted that the break-out area includes a small vending space, sink and cabinetry, a <br /> 37 gas fireplace, and benches. <br />
