This type of program <br /> could be used by other departments also and it was felt by those <br /> present it could be beneficial to all involved communities . <br /> Connie Kroeplin distributed some forms outlining a format to be used <br /> for proposed Council agenda items . The Department Heads were asked <br /> to comment on these after .they had time to review them. <br /> Ron Berg indicated the City will be allocated 2 or possible 3 <br /> CETA employees for summer help. They will be used by the Public <br /> Works Department and a mee.ting, . to. be held March .25th for CETA <br /> coordinators- .should be attended by either the Public Works Director <br /> or Supervisor. <br /> Carol Johnson opened a discussion on our records retention. She has <br /> a procedure used by the City of Coon Rapids and felt it contained <br /> some useable information. Microfilming was also discussed. Mrs . <br /> Johnson indicated she will be attending the conference for City Clerks <br /> to be held in Moorehead at the end of March. <br /> Larry Hamer indicated there should be a meeting on the assessments <br /> • for County Road C and Mr. Berg said there should be a meeting to <br /> discuss CDBG monies for St. Anthony Boulevard. <br /> Dave Childs asked for ideas on where the annual conference for the City 's <br /> advisory boards .could be held and who would be a .good speaker for <br /> that occasion. There were several suggestions for both items . <br /> Ramsey County Commissioner Salverda has invited Department Heads from <br /> various communities to attend one of his weekly breakfasts at Sambo 's <br /> Restaurant. Mr. Childs passed along that invitation and recommended <br /> attendance. <br /> Mr. Childs briefly mentioned the following items : <br /> 1. Gas report from Police Department. <br /> 2. Interest in City joining Chamber of Commerce. <br /> 3. Agenda items : (a) A consultant for the HRA will be at the <br /> Council's March 9th meeting; (b) Police Department annual report; <br /> (c) Ron Berg has the auction ordinance and the Apache Medical <br /> signage; and (d) Kiwanis will be donating $300 towards Res- <br /> uscitation Annie to the Fire Department. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 11:00 A.M. <br /> cjk <br />
