RESOLUTION PC-82-01 <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of St. Anthony , <br /> -Minnesota ,. presenting the opinion of the Planning Commission on <br /> the Redevelopment Plan of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br /> of St. Anthony ,. Minnesota , entitled "Kenzie Terrace Revitalization <br /> Program" ; dated May 1 , 1981 . <br /> WHEREAS , it has been the intent and desire of the City of St . <br /> Anthony for many years to improve conditions in the section of <br /> the City of St. Anthony referred to as Kenzie Terrace Commercial <br /> Area; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of St . Anthony , <br /> Minnesota -( the Authority) , and the City Council has now ' caused : to <br /> be prepared. a Redevelopment Plan for an urban renewal project. for <br /> the Kenzie Terrace Area of St. Anthony , Minnesota ( the project <br /> area) , entitled "Kenzie 'Terrace Revitalization Program" , dated <br /> May 1982 ( the plan ) ; and <br /> WHEREAS , - the plan has been prepared at the direction of the City <br /> Council with the cooperation and assistance of the appropriate <br /> City departments; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Authority has transmitted the plan to the Planning <br /> Commission of the City of St.-Anthony for its study , and has <br /> requested the written opinion of the Planning Commission on the <br /> plan, all pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 462 . 515 ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Planning Commission has now studied and considered <br /> said plan , which .consists of : redevelopment program, relocation <br /> plan_, method of financing tax increment plan , economic analysis , <br /> goals and objectives , economic analysis and design elements <br /> NOW, . THEREFORE , be it resolved by the City Planning Commission of <br /> the City of St . Anthony , tha.t., having studied and considered the <br /> plan , the Planning Commission , by this resolution , advises the <br /> City Council , the Authority , and all interested persons , that it <br /> is the opinion of the Planning Commission that : <br /> 1 . The plan provides an outline -for the development and- redevelop- <br /> ment of the project area and is sufficiently complete to <br /> indicate the relationship of the plan to the objectives of <br /> the City of St . Anthony as to appropriate land uses within <br /> the project area , and to indicate the general land uses and <br /> general standards of development or redevelopment within the <br /> project area ; <br /> 1 <br />
