1 <br /> St. Anthony Chemical Abuse Information Committee - Page 2 <br /> 2d. Mary Medved is to be asked by Tom Lindskog to help with publicity. <br /> He will call to have posters sent. Members of the committee will <br /> post in stores, Apache, Community Services, etc. showing location <br /> of our town meetings. Tom will contact Kiwanis about use of <br /> comauaity bulletin board. He will also contact St. Anthony <br /> New Brighton Bulletin with emphasize on the paper that is <br /> distributed on October 27th. <br /> 3. Emergency Cards ` <br /> Barb Malrick will update numbers for reprinting. Stress.will be placed <br /> on Youth Service Bureau here and new Family's Anonymous group to be <br /> formed here. ' - <br /> New Business: <br /> Jean Klosterman reminded us we had not elected new officers. New officers are: <br /> President: Karen Thoresen Quinn <br /> Secretary: Tom Lindskog <br /> Treasurer: Barb Malrick <br /> Evelyn reported that she had attended a multi-media presentation - Kids, Drugs, and <br /> Sports in Robbinsdale. It was a required night for students and one parent for all <br /> those involved in sports and extra-curricular activities. Other schools requiring <br /> attendance at such meetings are Bloomington, Hopkins, and Rochester. After Chemical <br /> People is over we will get more information on this subject. <br /> Discussion was held on what happens to youth who have been drinking and are stopped <br /> by police. Evelyn will get information from police and also check the policy of <br /> 20-20 (an adolescent de-tox center) and the cost to the cities who use the facility. <br /> A motion was made to change our meeting time to. the 3rd Tuesday of the month so as�� <br /> to not conflict with City Council meetings.
