Present were Lee Entner, Dave Childs , Ray Nelscxm,, Connie Kroeplin, Carol Johnson and Larry Hamer. Don �Y Hickerson was absent due to his attendance at the Spring Chief ' s Institute- n3 On March l5,th. the Public Works Department began reading, repairing and sealing re.sidential water meters . The process takes about two lA weeks to zomp�l.ete. Only two homeowners were affected by the water- main bredia March 19th, at 31st Avenue and Edward Street. Those present were given a tour/demonstration of the exercise room. Several pieces of equipment, which had been built ty Public Works -; personnel. have- already been placed in the room. • Larry Hamer is rJ_ gathering anfbrmation on the purchase of a universal gym and tread- mill. The money for these purchases will be allocated from the Police and, Fire: Funds . Sales in The gift and tobacco shops at the liquor warehouse. have been steatily increasing. Ray Nelson explained some of the items for sale and told us the different tobacco blends sold are named after poprlar brands of liquor , such as Ancient Age . :. Dave Chil& noted a squad car sustained some slight damage during ,t the last veekend. and will be repaired soon. Mr. Childs also listed some of the March 27th Council agenda .items including: water and sewer rates; CDBG Year X allocations ; the Gross Golf Course club- "' house; and a, representative from Short-Elliott-Hendrickson, Inc. will ;3 P present t1eir findings on the water study .
