CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1990- 0 0 3 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF TEMPORARY WINE <br /> LICENSES; ADDING A NEW SUBD. 3 TO SECTION 806:00; <br /> AMENDING SECTIONS 806:10; 806:20, SUBD. 2; AND <br /> 806:20, SUBD. 8 OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> The City Council of the City of St. Anthony ordains: <br /> Section 1. A new Subd. 3 is hereby added to-Section 806:00 of the 1973 Code of <br /> Ordinances to read as follows: <br /> Subd. 3. Temporary wine licenses. <br /> (a) The City Council may issue to a club or charitable, <br /> religious, or other nonprofit organization in existence for <br /> at least three years a temporary license for the on-sale of <br /> wine in connection with a social event within the City <br /> sponsored by the licensee. <br /> (b) The license mayauthorize the on-sale of wine for not more than <br /> • three consecutive days, and may authorize on-sales on premises <br /> other than premises the licensee owns or permanently occupies. <br /> (c) The license may provide that the licensee may contract for wine <br /> catering services with the holder of a full-year on-sale <br /> intoxicating liquor license issued by any municipality. <br /> (d) The licenses are subject to the terms, including a license fee, <br /> imposed by the City. Licenses issued under this subdivision are <br /> subject to all laws and-ordinances governing the sale of <br /> intoxicating liquor except Section 340A.409 and those laws and <br /> ordinances which by their nature are not applicable. <br /> (e) Licenses under this subdivision are not valid unless first approved by <br /> the commissioner of public safety. <br /> Section 2. Section 806:10 is amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 806:10. Fees. Applications for annual licenses shall be accompanied <br /> by an application processing fee of$100 and by the annual on-sale wine <br /> license fee of$250. The fee for a temporary wine license application <br /> processing fee is $ . All such fees shall be paid into the general fund of <br /> • the City. Upon rejection of any application for a license, the application <br /> processing fee shall be retained by the City and the annual on-sale wine <br /> license fee shall be refunded to the applicant. <br />
