I REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 2 FEBRUARY 11 , 1992 • <br /> 3 PAGE 6 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Mayor Ranallo advised that a chairperson is still <br /> 7 needed for the Kiddie Parade and a coordinator is <br /> 8 needed for the sporting events . The softball <br /> 9 tournament also needs to be organized. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 The dates of the Village Fest are July 24th, 25th <br /> 12 and 26th. The City Manager will contact Ms . <br /> 13 Olsonoski regarding the need to reserve all <br /> 14 facilities needed for the ,Village Fest activities . <br /> 15 <br /> 16 4 . Report of Mayor Ranallo <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Mayor Ranallo was one of the three presenters at <br /> 19 the Newly-Elected Officials Workshop. Councilmember <br /> 20 Fleming felt his comments were very well received. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 The Mayor attended the D.A.R.E. Program and was <br /> 23 impressed with its content . Councilmember Enrooth <br /> 24 observed that the number of parents in attendance <br /> 25 has decreased since the last D.A.R.E. Program. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 The Mayor had mentioned during the program that the • <br /> 28 D.A.R. E. fundraiser, the Paul Todd Show, was not <br /> 29 well attended by St . Anthony residents and not much <br /> 30 funding for the program was received. He received <br /> 31 $200 in pledges from parents in attendance. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Mayor Ranallo inquired if another date has been <br /> 34 scheduled for the Council and the School Board to <br /> 35 meet . The City Manager responded he is waiting <br /> 36 until the new School Superintendent arrives. The <br /> 37 Mayor and City -Manager will pursue an April meeting <br /> 38 date. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 Apache Plaza has a new Marketing Director who <br /> 41 replaced Barb Olsonoski . Photos were taken today at <br /> 42 Apache Plaza for the "St . Anthony Dollars" <br /> 43 Campaign. This Campaign will have its kick-off on <br /> 44 February 24th and will be highlighted at the Spring <br /> 45 Fling on February 29th. The Mayor is hopeful that <br /> 46 the Campaign is successful . <br /> 47 <br /> 48 The City Manager advised that the "Dollars" of the <br /> 49 Campaign will be kept in the City Hall safe. <br /> 50 <br /> 51 The Mayor received a letter from the Camp Committee <br /> 52 of Silver. Lake Camp stating its position of not <br /> 53 supporting sidewalk construction on the west side <br /> 54 of Silver Lake Road. It is the opinion of the Camp <br />
