Section 4: RESTRICTIONS DURING CERTAIN HOURS: Between the hours of 11:00 A.'.%4. and 3:00 P.M. and between the hours of 9:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M. on each and every day of the week, no motorboat shall be_operated at a speed in excess of five (5) miles(Cc os r per hour. At all other times during each and every day of the week, motorboats shall be ,!�ROir�c-, subject to no speed limit and may be operated at unrestricted speeds. vo u'/4i.F Section 5: DIRECTION OF TRAVEL DURING !.UNRESTRICTED SPEED TIMES: During the hours in which unrestricted operating speeds are permitted, all motorboats shall travel and be operated in a counterclockm ise direction around Silver Lake. Section 6: NONSAII'CTIONED RACING PROHIBITED: Racing, that is the participation of two (2) or more operators of motorboats operating their motorboats in a competition of speed, shall be prohibited on the waters of Silver Lake unless the same takes place as part of a scheduled or public race, regatta, tournament or other competition or exhibition duly sanctioned by the county sheriff pursuant to Section 361.20 of the Minnesota Statutes, as amended. Section 7: ENFORCEMENT: The enforcement of,this Ordinance shall be the primary responsibility of the Ramsey County Sheriffs Department, and the City of St. Anthony's peace officers. Other licensed peace officers including Conservation Officers of the Department of Natural Resources of the State of Minnesota are also authorized. Section 8: All authorized Resource Management, Emergency and Enforcement Personnel, while acting in the performance of their assigned duties are exempt from the foregoing restrictions. Section 9: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after the date of its passage and publication.
