Lt. Ohl has noted that it would be
impossible to fulfill her request to have an officer patrol the area for one hour in the morning
and one hour in the evening due to staffing. Morrison reported Chief Engstrom, and the New •
Brighton and Moundsview Police Chiefs are in the process of discussion with Tri-City to
obtain a radar-type patrol car which is parked on the side of the road and identifies vehicular
speed as cars pass. This may be one option that could be utilized on Kenzie Terrace and
other areas.
Mayor Ranallo reported he had received a request from Kathie Wolff, Chair of the
VillageFest Committee, to expand the territory of the VillageFest Medallion Hunt to include
other City property.
There was Council consensus to allow the VillageFest Medallion Hunt to expand to other City
property but limited to parks only and with the condition that the medallion not be buried.
Mayor Ranallo reported he had received a letter this evening from the ECFE Advisory
Council requesting a bulletin board in the Community Services hallway and a kiosk in the
Community Center lobby.
