• CITY OF ST ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION #00-098 <br /> A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY 2001 TAX LEVY <br /> AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT <br /> WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires the City of St. Anthony provide <br /> Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a certified 2001 tax levy and budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City Manager's proposed.2001 budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on December 11, 2000, 7:00 P.M. in <br /> its Council Chambers to discuss the tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a subsequent meeting on December 20, 2000, 7:00 P.M. <br /> in its Council Chambers to adopt the final 2001 property tax levy and budget; <br /> and. <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS, the information required for the City to calculate a definitive tax levy has been <br /> collected. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> 1) The 2001 property tax levy is: <br /> Property Tax Levy $2,112,768 <br /> Less_: H.A.C.A. ( 349,293) <br /> Total.General Fund Levy $1,763,475 <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 20,000 <br /> Less: H.A.C.A. ( 4,597) <br /> Total Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 15,403 <br /> Special Assessment/Road Improvements 272,189 <br /> Total 2001 Tax Levy $2,051,067 <br /> 2) The 2001 Total Operating Budget totals $7,138,175 <br />
