ANTHONY <br /> ORDINANCE 2002-002 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO FLOOR AREA RATIO AND GARAGE/ <br /> ACCESSORY BUILDINGS; AMENDING SECTION 1605, SUBDS. 1; <br /> 31; AND 33 OF THE ST. ANTHONY CITY CODE <br /> The City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby ordains: <br /> Section 1. The St. Anthony City Code is hereby amended to clarify definitions in Section <br /> 1605, Subds. 1; 31; and 33 as follows: <br /> Subd. 1. Accessory Building. A separate building or structure or a portion of a principal <br /> building or structure used for accessory uses. <br /> Subd. 31. Floor Area Ratio. The ratio of the maximum permitted floor area of the <br /> principal building or buildings to the area of the lot on which they are located or to be <br /> located. The maximum allowable floor area on a lot is determined by multiplying the lot <br /> area by the floor area ratio. The garage is not included in determining the floor area ratio <br /> as it is considered an accessory building in residential areas. <br /> Subd. 33. Garaize. An accessory building or portion of a principal building which is <br /> principally used for the storage of motor vehicles owned by occupants of the principal <br /> building. Garages cannot be larger than the principal structure or be more than 1,000 <br /> square feet in size in R1, RIA, and R2 zoned property. <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective as of the date of its publication. <br /> First Reading: June 25, 2002 <br /> Second Reading: July 23, 2002 <br /> Adopted: August 27, 2002 <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Publish: St. Anthony Bulletin <br />
