Outlined below, please find a list of projects and the <br /> current status of each: <br /> I. Wellhead Protection Plan <br /> As you may recall, Ramsey County SWCD has volunteered to complete the <br /> groundwater modeling information for the City of St. Anthony and to assist in <br /> the preparation of the Wellhead Protection Plan. We recently met with Matt <br /> Swanson of the Ramsey County Soil and Water Conservation District(SWCD) <br /> to discuss their progress on the Plan. <br /> At this meeting, we reviewed some of the assumptions used in developing the <br /> groundwater model and the results of the modeling. Results of the groundwater <br /> modeling are attached for your information. We anticipate a meeting with the <br /> Minnesota Department of Health towards the end of October to discuss these <br /> results and to define the Wellhead Protection limits within St. Anthony Village. <br /> We also anticipate that in February, a draft Wellhead Protection Plan would be <br /> available for presentation to the City Council. <br /> II. Water and Sewer Study <br /> We have completed the St. Anthony Village Water Needs and Sanitary Sewer <br /> Studies. A full copy of these reports has been provided to each of you for your <br /> review. Attached is a brief summary of the information used to evaluate the <br /> Village's Water and Sewer needs, and a Table, which summarizes the <br /> recommendations and priorities for implementation of sanitary sewer and water <br /> improvements within St. Anthony Village. We will review these <br /> recommendations with you at the October 22nd Council Meeting. <br /> 4150 Olson <br /> Memorial Highway III. 1999 Street Reconstruction <br /> Suite 300 <br /> The 1999 Street Reconstruction project is 100% complete. However,the <br /> Minneapolis residents at 2616 Pahl Avenue have issued concerns associated with the <br /> Minnesota steepness and the quality of their driveway construction.
