He stated nothing got done until he spoke with the Public Works Director. He requested <br /> 3 this situation be corrected. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 Paul Smith, 3032 Fairway Drive, Casson, stated he represented the building owners in which Mr. <br /> 6 Olson was a resident. He stated the drainage behind the Tires Plus facility was an issue and was <br /> 7 causing damage to their building. He handed to the Council additional pictures. He stated he <br /> 8 had various meeting with the Public Works department(Jay Harman),but up to this point, <br /> 9 nothing had been done. He stated he had also spoken with Ron at Tires Plus and was informed <br /> 10 they were trying to keep the water draining onto the property by digging trenches,but this was a <br /> 11 very small project. He stated there needed to have a swale put in with drainage away from the <br /> 12 property. He stated they also had problems with rocks from the Tires Plus facility coming into <br /> 13 their property and it has ruined his lawnmower. He stated he was willing to work with Tires <br /> 14 Plus, but needed additional assistance from the City. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Dennis Cavanaugh, 2909 St. Anthony Blvd., thanked Council for denying Resolution 04-067. <br /> 17 He stated he believed the applicant wanted a big operation on this property. He stated he was not <br /> 18 anti funeral home and he wanted to preserve the cemetery. He handed to the Council applicant's <br /> 19 services, which he had obtained off of the Internet. He suggested the clean up the property to get <br /> 20 them into compliance. He asked the City to start looking at the signage and enforcement policy <br /> 21 for next year. He indicated signage made a difference. He asked the City post their agenda and <br /> 22 the HRA agenda to the library bulletin board and not just the notice. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 IX.
