_2_ -- . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Enrooth • <br /> to renew the wine license for Vincenzo' s restaurant and the off-sale <br /> beer licenses for the two Red Owl stores in the City, as listed in the <br /> March 22 ,' 1983 Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> approve payment of all verified claims listed for February 28th and <br /> March 22, 1983 in the March 22 , 1983 Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> approve payment of $9 ,000 to School District #282 as the first quarter <br /> payment for the City' s use of the Parkview facilities . <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman. Enrooth to <br /> approve payment of $2 ,283 .52 to Dorsey & Whitney for legal services <br /> during January, 1983 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to • <br /> approve payment of $1 , 570 to _Boonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates <br /> as partial payment for their report on Well No.. 3 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously.. <br /> Mayor Sundland and Councilman Marks reported on the various seminars <br /> they had attended during the National Conference of Cities in .Washington <br /> D.C. the first week in March, including conferences on revenue sharing , <br /> housing market projections and problems; the bonding market; and pro- <br /> posed Cable T.V. legislation. <br /> The Mayor indicated he had been gratified to learn the bonding companies <br /> would now be looking at not only the ability of a city 's residents to <br /> pay for local government projects but also what type of contingency <br /> plans the City had made in case federal and state funding would not be <br /> available , because he perceives St. Anthony has shown such foresight <br /> where many other municipalities are in deep trouble now because they <br /> just -let events happen as they would. He also reported concerns <br /> generated at the- conference about proposed legislation which could take <br /> away local control of Cable T.V. , would probably be alleviated, at least <br /> for the present , because since the conference , the cable companies have <br /> been able to negotiate a settlement under which such legislation would <br /> be dropped for the 98th session. <br /> The two hearings on the allocation of Years VI , VII , VIII ,- and IX • <br /> Community Development -Block Grant funds were opened simultaneously at <br /> 8: 34 P .M. <br />
