The attorney introduced <br /> 19 Bruce Nedegaard, President of Nedegaard Construction and announced that <br /> 20 )Torwest Bank would be purchasing the necessary notes for the project. <br /> 21 Mr. Soth reported the Redevelopment Agreement with the new developer <br /> 22 had been finalized with only a few exhibits to still be provided. He <br /> 23 reminded the Council that most of the other documents approving the <br /> 24 project had already gone through the required Planning Commission and <br /> 25 Council approval process with final execution awaiting the signing of <br /> 26 the Agreement. The City Attorney assured Councilmember Ranallo that as <br /> 27 long as, he had not signed a final purchase agreement with the developers <br /> 28 for a townhome unit, there should be no problem with his voting on the <br /> 29 actions necessary to approve the project. <br /> 30 Mr. Nedegaard confirmed that further soil borings had revealed no <br /> 31 further soil corrections than those already approved for tax increment <br /> 32 financing for which his bank had agreed to purchase the notes. He <br /> 33 indicated he anticipated breaking ground for the project the following <br /> 34 Friday. Vern Hoium, President of Evergreen Development, reported that <br /> 35 by not constructing basements under all the units closest to the <br /> 36 railroad tracks, the need for using Soo Line Railroad right-of-way had <br /> 37 been eliminated. • <br /> 6 <br />
