STAFF REPORT <br /> DATE: January 11, 1993 <br /> TO: Planning Commission <br /> FROM: David Mark Urbia, Management Assistant <br /> ITEM: SIGN ORDINANCE ISSUES <br /> Commissioner Madden suggested 1400.12, Subd. 2(1) be amended to require each <br /> identification sign allowed per right-of-way frontage to face the frontage. Staff believes <br /> flexibility is needed in the language to address various situations. In addition, a more <br /> restrictive ordinance can be viewed as harassing business. The Planning Commission may <br /> make a formal recommendation to the City Council for consideration of an ordinance <br /> change. <br /> • <br /> • <br />
