Ramsey County will meet with Staff in <br /> 2 January or February of 1997 and will then submit the project. Mornson noted the neighborhood <br /> 3 meeting is the first of three meetings. The next meeting will be held next year at this time. <br /> 4 Marks stated he would like the issue of who is responsible for snow removal on the sidewalks of <br /> 5 the bridge addressed. Mornson stated he has brought this issue to the attention of Ramsey <br /> 6 County. <br /> 7 Mayor Ranallo asked who had been notified of the public meeting. Mornson reported all <br /> 8 resident in the area were notified. The list which had been utilized for the CUB Food Stores had <br /> 9 been used for this notice. <br /> 10 Mayor Ranallo stated he has received calls from residents who support and also who are in <br /> 11 opposition'to installation of sidewalks on the bridge. <br /> 12 Morn�on noted that due to the public meeting regarding the bridge project being scheduled for <br /> 13 Tuesday, December 3, 1996, he would like to reschedule the Council work session to <br /> 14 Wednesday, December 4, 1996 from 6:00 to 6:45 P.M. <br /> 15 There was Council consensus to reschedule the December work session to December 4, 1996 <br /> 16 from 6:00 to 6:45 P.M. <br /> 17 Morrison reported three cleaning proposals for the new City Hall/Community Center had been <br /> 18 accepted. Staff is in the process of analyzing the bids and performing reference checks. Staff <br /> 19 also is continuing to work with Agkanan to determine whether they want to continue to lease <br /> 20 space in the current building until it is demolished. <br /> 21 Mornson reported Kim Johnson of the School Board has notified Staff that the Sandbee <br /> 22 Organization would like to retain approximately 250 bricks from the current City Hall. Public <br /> 23 Works employees will take the brick off and'the SANBE Organization will be responsible to <br /> 24 clean the brick. <br /> 25 Morrison repor'ted the Planning Commission had discussed composition of the Comprehensive <br /> 26 Plan Update Task Force. Council had suggested a member of Healthy Community/Healthy <br /> 27 Youth be appointed to the Task Force to represent.the churches. The Planning Commission has <br /> 28 proposed that instead of this option, a letter be sent to every church in the area informing them of <br /> 29 the meetings and inviting them to be involved by participating in the meetings or simply by <br /> 30 submitting their ideas to the task force. It was also suggested this be utilized for the service <br /> 31 organizations. <br /> 32 The Council supported this approach but expressed concern that this may result in too many <br /> 33 people being involved. <br />
