Ramsey County will meet with Staff in 2 January or February of 1997 and will then submit the project. Mornson noted the neighborhood 3 meeting is the first of three meetings. The next meeting will be held next year at this time. 4 Marks stated he would like the issue of who is responsible for snow removal on the sidewalks of 5 the bridge addressed. Mornson stated he has brought this issue to the attention of Ramsey 6 County. 7 Mayor Ranallo asked who had been notified of the public meeting. Mornson reported all 8 resident in the area were notified. The list which had been utilized for the CUB Food Stores had 9 been used for this notice. 10 Mayor Ranallo stated he has received calls from residents who support and also who are in 11 opposition'to installation of sidewalks on the bridge. 12 Morn�on noted that due to the public meeting regarding the bridge project being scheduled for 13 Tuesday, December 3, 1996, he would like to reschedule the Council work session to 14 Wednesday, December 4, 1996 from 6:00 to 6:45 P.M. 15 There was Council consensus to reschedule the December work session to December 4, 1996 16 from 6:00 to 6:45 P.M. 17 Morrison reported three cleaning proposals for the new City Hall/Community Center had been 18 accepted. Staff is in the process of analyzing the bids and performing reference checks. Staff 19 also is continuing to work with Agkanan to determine whether they want to continue to lease 20 space in the current building until it is demolished. 21 Mornson reported Kim Johnson of the School Board has notified Staff that the Sandbee 22 Organization would like to retain approximately 250 bricks from the current City Hall. Public 23 Works employees will take the brick off and'the SANBE Organization will be responsible to 24 clean the brick. 25 Morrison repor'ted the Planning Commission had discussed composition of the Comprehensive 26 Plan Update Task Force. Council had suggested a member of Healthy Community/Healthy 27 Youth be appointed to the Task Force to represent.the churches. The Planning Commission has 28 proposed that instead of this option, a letter be sent to every church in the area informing them of 29 the meetings and inviting them to be involved by participating in the meetings or simply by 30 submitting their ideas to the task force. It was also suggested this be utilized for the service 31 organizations. 32 The Council supported this approach but expressed concern that this may result in too many 33 people being involved.
