2805 Pahl Avenue NE
St. Anthony, MN 55418-3253
19 May, 1997
Planning Commission
City Council
City of St. Anthony
Administrative Offices
3301 Silver Lake Road
St. Anthony, MN 55418
To Whom It may Concern:
This letter is appended to the accompanying materials pertinent to a planned
garage replacement project at 2805 Pahl Avenue NE, St. Anthony Village, MN
(Lot 42, Block 5, Murray Heights Addition to Minneapolis).
The accompanying materials consist of: -
1. A current Certificate of Survey of said property executed 30
April, 1997, by Kemper & Associates, Inc..
2. A partial construction plan of the proposed replacement
structure.
3. A City of St. Anthony Application For Garage Setback Permit.
It is important to emphasize that the proposed structure is a replacement
structure. The "footprint" of the new structure will occupy that of the existing
structure. Replacement of the garage currently occupying the site indicated
on the Certificate of Survey has become necessary because of deterioration in
the foundation and structure of the present forty year old building. The
replacement intended will be visually identical with the existing structure, e
but structurally sound and constructed to contemporary standards and codes.
Distances to/from any structures on adjacent properties will be maintained as
extant.
It is anticipated that vegetation or other screening on the subject property
and/or adjoining property will be unaltered. Currently such vegetation
and/or screening consists of gardens and small fruit trees, the latter being on
the adjoining property.
The proposed replacement. structure will not alter existing light and
visibility available to the adjoining property.
