PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS. <br /> 6 Motion Marks, second by Enrooth to approve the following claims: <br /> 7 <br /> 8 D. 3 pages of Verified Claims as presented by the Finance Director. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 11 VII. REPORTS. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 A. Councilmembers <br /> 14 Councilmember Enrooth stated there was a short commercial on TV regarding flood <br /> 15 insurance. He wondered if anyone had called and inquired. Wagner stated flood insurance is <br /> 16 available but difficult to obtain. Ranallo stated he has heard a rumor that there were a few <br /> 17 residents who collected on the July l flood. <br /> 18 Marks nothing <br /> 19 Faust nothing <br /> 20 Wagner nothing <br /> 21 <br /> 22 B. Mayor <br /> 23 Mayor Ranallo reviewed he and Mike Mornson had a meeting with the Superintendent and <br /> 24 Chair of the School Board. He stated the School Board is very pleased with what is <br /> 25 happening at the Community Center. The main question was when would the tennis courts be <br /> 26 completed. They were advised of the pollution problem that needed to be corrected. This <br /> 27 was the cause for the delay. The plan now is to wait until next Spring to lay the blacktop. <br /> 28 Fortunately, two years ago the City took out insurance and that insurance covered the digging <br /> 29 of this tank. In early 1998, all City Councilmembers and School Board members will meet <br /> 30 together and exchange ideas for improvement. <br /> 31 Wagner questioned if anything was mentioned about the Tot Lot.
