City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> April 13, 1999 <br /> Page 8 <br /> Ranallo reviewed a letter he received from the Salvation Army Camp Director which notes that <br /> the camp is not yet on the market and the Camp is negotiating with a real estate firm to provide. <br /> representation in all negotiations. He added he will keep the Council informed of all . <br /> developments. <br /> I. City Manager. <br /> Mornson reminded the Councilmembers of the League of Minnesota Cities' Annual Meeting to <br /> be held in St. Anthony May 15-18, 1999, adding that there will not be a Council meeting held <br /> that week. <br /> Mornson stated that the City had received 2 applications for the Planning Commission opening <br /> for which the deadline was Friday, April 8, 1999. He stated the Council could meet prior to its <br /> regular meeting on April 27, 1999 to discuss the applicants. It was agreed the Council would <br /> meet at 6:30 PM on April 27, 1999 for a worksession. <br /> Mornson stated there are some possible vacancies on the Parks Commission which are still under <br /> discussion, adding this could be discussed at the Council's joint worksession with the Parks <br /> Commission on June 1, 1999. <br /> Mornson stated that City staff are preparing an RFP for consultants to design a new public works <br /> facility, and consultants will be recommended to the Council for this project. <br /> Mornson stated that bids for the water filtration plant repair work will be presented at the <br /> Council's next meeting, adding the majority of the work will be paid by state grant. <br /> VIII. PUBLIC HEARINGS -None. <br /> IX. NEW BUSINESS. <br /> A. Resolution 99-027, re: Change Order relating to Silver Point Park Project(WSB, Inc.) <br /> Ranallo welcomed Todd Hubmer, WSB, Inc., and invited him to address the Council. Mr. <br /> Hubmer reviewed recent progress in Silver Point Park's construction including Roselle Drive <br /> and the parking lot. He stated that the change order in question relates to subgrade work and soil <br /> correction in those areas. <br /> Motion by Marks, second by Thuesen to approve Resolution 99-027,approving Change Order <br /> No. 2 for the Silver Point Park Storm Water Improvement Project. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> B. Resolution 99-028 re: Grant Agreement with the DNR(WSB, Inc.) <br />
