Date: May 18, 2004
To: St. Anthony Planning Commission
From: Perry Thorvig, City Planning Consultant on Silver Lake Village
Subject: Briefing on Condominium Project at Silver Lake Village
Requested Action: No formal action is required at this meeting. The Planning
Commission should listen to the briefing on the condominium project proposed by Dan
Hunt and Len Pratt and ask questions and make comments about the plan. Hunt/Pratt
will present their plans to the Planning Commission again at a future meeting.
Background
The purpose of the May 18, 2004 briefing is to allow Hunt/Pratt an opportunity to present
their plans and provide an update on the final planning for the condominium project that
will be located north of the Dominium building.
The concept(Preliminary Development Plan)that was approved last year is reflected in
the Design Framework Manual dated August 19, 2003 and the Preliminary Site Plan
dated 8/8/03. It shows a first phase of four condominium buildings of 64 units each with
all parking underground.
No more detailed information was available at the time this report was prepared.
Summary
The Planning Commission should ask questions about the building and make comments
so that plans can be finalized and submitted to the commission for formal review at some
time in the future.
