The city 's budget for street lighting is going to be in the red this year in all likelihood and we must increase the budget $2400 .00 for next year even without adding any additional lights. ACTION: Council C. Suburban Public'Health Nursing Service re Membership in Nursing District. Letter and response attached. I would recommend thdt .we not join the district. I believe we are getting very good service from North Memorial Hospital and to date it has not cost the city one penny for 1976 . I have received no com- plaints about lack of service or poor service. ACTION: Recommend we don't join d. Metropolitan Land Planning Act - Informational ACTION: File e. Signal at Lowry and Stinson. Enclosed is a report from the city of Minneapolis and a - letter 'from Hennepin County. The Mpls. report is by the Engineering Department and establishes the justification for the signal. The Hennepin County letter is in • reference to the cost split on signals . Our cost for this signal would be approximately $3 ,000 . 00 . I was supposed to be in receipt of a formal letter of request from the City of Minneapolis before the meeting but have not received such to date. ACTION: Council f. Letter from Mr. and Mrs. Donald Miller, 29th and Silver Lake Road re landscaping - informational. Copy sent to insurance company. ACTION: File g.
