Ordinances & Resolutions <br /> A. Ordinance regulating Pinball Machines . The attached ordinances <br /> were acquired from the League because of growing concern of the <br /> merchants in. Apache .and the Police Department over problems <br /> created by the people using the machines . The machines are pre- <br /> sently scattered all over the mall and because of this it is <br /> impossible to supervise the activity around them. There are <br /> • approximately 30 in the mall area. The merchants and Police <br /> Department both feel that the least we should do is to require <br /> that they be in a defined area that can be supervised at all <br /> times and secured. <br /> Action_ :. Recommend we have the attorney prepare an ordinance <br /> regulating amusement machines. <br /> B. Bingo Ordinance (act relating to Bingo - Chapter 261) . Enclosed <br /> is an ordinance regulating bingo that the attorney has prepared <br /> as prescribed by State law. <br /> Action: Recommend approval of 1st reading. <br /> C. Resolution 76-040. A resolution modifying the 1976 Budget. This <br /> resolution will allow the City Treasurer to transfer money re- <br /> ceived from Columbia Heights and the St. Anthony School District <br /> from the Miscellaneous income account to the -'Fuel account in the <br /> transportation and garage budget to pay for fuel we have sold <br /> them. <br /> Action: Recommend approval. <br /> D. Resolution 76-041. A resolution modifying the 1976 Budget.. This <br /> resolution will provide for transferring monies from one of the <br /> • Parks Maintenance accounts to another as needed. <br /> Action: Recommend approval. <br />
