E. Resolution 76-042. A resolution modifying the 1976 Budget. • This resolution will allow the Treasurer to write off checks that are over 2 years old and haven't been cashed. This will simplify herbookkeeping process and it appears unlidely that they will be cashed after this length of time. Action: Recommend approval,. - F. pproval.F. Resolution 76-043. A resolution regarding installation of pro- per curbs. The .followinq resolution was prepared as you re= quested at the ' last meeting. Action: Recommend approval and -that it be forwarded to William Crawford, District No. 5, Engineer for the MHD. G. Resolution 76-044. A .resolution recertifying special assessment on Ramsey County Property. Action: Recommend approval. 7. Old Business A. Diane Nickerson requesting permission for AFS to paint street address numbers on curbs in front-,-,6f-, homes. Ms . Nickerson will be at the meeting to present her request. We have allowed this in the past but most of the numbers painted on in the past have worn out to the point where you can barely read them. • Action: Council. 8. New Business A. Bus Shelter in City - Memo attached. Action: Non needed until MTC gets back to City. B. Employ attorney for special assessment problems . The City Attor- ney advised us several .months ago that his firm had a possible conflict regarding our special assessment problems in Ramsey County. We to the point that we will possibly need more specific legal advice on this problem and I have discussed the problem with our attorneys and we have concluded that we should retain a different attorney at this time.. C. Funding for North Suburban Day Activity 'Center. Attached is a letter from NSDAC. This has never been funded but has come from the Council contingency. Action: Council. D. Tree Removal - Grant-in-Aid Program. I have some slightly irreg- ular applications for grant I want to discuss with the Council. I will have them with me at the meeting. • Action: Council.
