I have talked to the Legion and <br /> ghey have indicated to me that they don't like the ordin- <br /> ance but realize it is required by law. If they have any <br /> specific comments they will contact me before the meeting <br /> or come to the neeting. <br /> • ACTION° Recommend waive reading and adopt. <br /> B. Ordinance 1976-014. An Ordinance Regulating Amusement De- <br /> vices. Mr. Nilva and. his Attorney will be at the meeting <br /> to discuss . The City staff 's recommendation still stands <br /> regarding the situation at Apache. An alternative though <br /> might be to increase the license fee substantially and let <br /> them remain. The people who own the machines and the <br /> businesses that have thee► have shown a willingness to co- <br /> -operate and possibly we .should table action until we can <br /> review and update our entire licensing ordinance. <br /> ACTIONz Council. <br /> C. Resolution 76-053 . Resolution re: The resolution is <br /> attached. mayor Miedtke will present an add.iticn he sug- <br /> gested after the resolution was prepared.. <br /> ACTIONS Recommend approval . <br /> D. Resolution 76-054 and 76-055. These resolutions are not <br /> finalized yet but they will be presented at the meeting. <br /> 76-054 will make budget transfers for remodeling of space <br /> in Parkview for City Hall and 76-055 will provide for trans- <br /> fers to General Funds Accounts in the red from those that <br /> • are in the black. <br /> ACTION° Recommend approval. <br />
