• E. Resolution 76-056 . This resolution will allow the treasurer to transfer (on paper) money- from the General Fund Reserve to wipe out the Cornmunity Service deficit. (Resolution will be brought to the meeting) . It is simply a paper transaction as the deficit has already been paid from the General Fund Reserve but this will allow the treasurer to clean up her bookwork. ACTIO112 Recommend. approval . 7 . Old Business A. Letter from Columbia Heights re: School Buses - Letter at- tached. I still must recommend that the City not acquire a bus, but try to provide other alternatives. However, I question a direct subsidy for any group as it establishes a bad precedent we don't have the funds to finance. I have forwarded the letter to Mr. Cope and !4r. Srocra of the Senior Citizens. ACTIO11. Council. B. Vending License for washers and dryers in apartment buildings . We have inventioned the machines that exist in the City and have had contact with several vendors who install them or building owners who own their own. The staff hopes to be • able to arrange a meeting with these people in January to discuss the problem.s. A report to the Council will follow that meeting. ACTION: Recommend we table. C. Discussion of covered hockey facility in Central Park. Re- presentatives of the group Promoting this will be present to make a presentation. ACTION; Council. D.
