CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> - � COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> March 11, 1980 <br /> .The -meeting was called to order by Mayor Haik at 7 :30 p.m. <br /> Present for roll call.: Letourneau, Ranallo, Haik, Sundland and Marks . <br /> Also present: 'Jim Fbrnell, City -Manager; Ron Berg, Administrative <br /> Assistant; William Soth, City .Attorney; and Carol Johnson, Clerk- <br /> Treasurer. <br /> Motion by Mayor Haik and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to approve <br /> as submitted the minutes for the regular Council meeting held on <br /> February 28, 1980, accepting the. correction noted on Page 3, indi'-- <br /> cating' the first rather than -the second reading had been given to <br /> Ordinance 1980-001.- <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> The minutes for the work session on street rehabilitation and recon- <br /> struction held February 28, were corrected and added to as follows: <br /> Pagel, para. .3 : Council Marks arrived at 7 :40 "p.m. " <br /> rather than "a.m. " <br /> Page 1, para. 9 : "Motion by Mayor Haik and seconded <br /> by Councilman S.undland to adopt <br /> Resolution 80-019" should precede <br /> the description of that resolution. <br /> Motion by Mayor Haik and seconded by Councilman Marks to approve as <br /> corrected the minutes for the Council 's work .session held February <br /> 28, .1980. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Judy Makowske presented a report of actions taken and recommeIa;:tions <br /> made during the Planning Commission meeting held February 19 , 1920. <br /> Her presentation -was prefaced with an expression of -appreciation -%or <br /> her appointment to the Commission. <br /> Because of the relationship of the tax increment financing of the <br /> Ames proposal to develop the western portion of the Hedlund PUD for <br /> low to moderate housing with that for the senior housing on Kenzie <br /> - Terrace, which is now in doubt, Mrs. Makowske reported Mr. . An:es <br /> had requested the public hearing on his proposal not .be held as <br /> scheduled during the Commission meeting. A new hearing on the pro- <br /> posal to rezone the Hedlund property will be scheduled with re- <br /> notification of all affected property owners when and if Mr. Ames <br /> resubmits his application for such a hearing. <br /> The Planning Commission representative next reported the recommen- <br /> dation .from-'the Commission that Central Engineering be permitted <br /> the use of a temporary office space on their property on Anthony <br /> Lane during construction of a permanent addition which must be <br />
