CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> • October 14 , 1980 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7 : 30 P.M. by Mayor Haik. <br /> Present for roll call: Marks , Sundland, Haik, Ranallo and Letourneau. <br /> Also present: Jim Fornell, City Manager; William Soth, City Attorney; <br /> and Carol Johnson, . Clerk/Treasurer. <br /> The minutes of the regular Council meeting held September 23rd were <br /> corrected as follows: <br /> Page 1, para. 4 : The dimensions of the Solie garage addition <br /> will be "25 X 24 feet" and not "50 X 14 feet" . <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Letourneau <br /> to approve as corrected the minutes of the Council meeting held <br /> September 23, 1980 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded- by Councilman Letourneau <br /> to approve as submitted the minutes of the Council budget work <br /> • sessions held- September 16 , 18 , and October 7 , 1980 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The September 22 , 1980 minutes of the Cable T.V. Advisory Committee <br /> meeting were noted and ordered filed. <br /> Accepted as an- agenda addendum was clarification regarding the <br /> Council members ' presentations November 19th requested by Councilman <br /> Marks. <br /> Diane Nelsen, representing the Automobile Club of Minneapolis <br /> presented the Mayor with her organization' s Pedestrian Safety Award <br /> for which she said the City was selected from a field of 950 cities <br /> for recognition of its nineteen years without a fatality. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> approve. the first reading of the new sewer rate ordinance. <br /> ORDINANCE 1980-005 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO SEWER RATES AND <br /> CHARGES, AMENDING SECTION 540 OF THE 1973 <br /> CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br />
