-3- <br /> on County Road E and Stinson Boulevard and to negotiate an agreement <br /> with the Salvation Army that they will pay the costs of the study for <br /> County Road E if the project doesn ' t go through and share the costs of <br /> the study for the Stinson project and at the same time to ascertain <br /> what the City ' s share of the Stinson project will be. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Consideration of Resolution 81-014 was resumed when it became apparent <br /> that Mrs . Roy Stafford, 3105 Edgemere, whose complaints regarding late <br /> night lighting and auto starting by Berger employees which had <br /> initiated the resolution, would not be present to discuss the problems <br /> which had been addressed in the January 16th memorandum f rom the Police <br /> Chief and the January 20th memorandum from Mr. Fornell . The Manager <br /> was requested to contact Mr. Dircks of Berger to remind him that when <br /> the Council had granted the front yard setback variances for the <br /> expansion of the plant, he had agreed there would be no employee <br /> parking along County Road D but rather a satellite parking lot would <br /> be utilized. The resolution was tabled, until a meeting to which <br /> Mr. Dircks and Mrs. Stafford will be invited. <br /> RESOLUTION 81-014 <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> POST A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD "D" FOR NO PARKING <br /> Questions regarding Ramsey County ' s plans for sidewalks along County <br /> Road D were explored in anticipation of the meeting to be held later <br /> that evening regarding the rebuilding of that roadway. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> accept the recommendations of the Public Works Director to accept the <br /> bid and award the contract to the Ruffridge-Johnson Equipment Co. , <br /> Inc. for $3 , 450 for a Rosco Deluxe Rollpac roller for use by the <br /> Maintenance Department. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The December 31 , 1980 Investment Report from the Clerk/Treasurer and <br /> the November Police Report were noted and ordered filed. <br /> Mr. Fornell was requested to contact the Hennepin County Assessors <br /> Office to ascertain whether the City 's Board of Review date could be <br /> changed from May 26th to 6 : 30 P .M. just before the Council ' s meeting <br /> May 27th and if not, to schedule the review for 6 : 30 P.M. on the 26th. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> grant a heating license to Riccar Heating & Air Conditioning. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> approve payment of all verified claims listed in the January 27 , 1981 <br /> Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br />
