He said out of. eighty-six officials attending <br /> • the conference, all but two had -indicated they were going to up their <br /> levy limits in 1982 . <br /> Mayor Haik reported HUD has rejected the Kenzie Terrace senior housing <br /> proposal in spite of the Metropolitan Council's priority listings and <br /> the proponents are .meeting with HUD officials to see if an alternative <br /> proposal might be acceptable. <br /> No further input was offered by anyone present and the hearing was <br /> closed at 7 : 55 P.M. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded .by Councilman Letourneau <br /> to adopt Resolution 81-069 as amended .to reflect the $3 ,000 levy for <br /> HRA costs . <br /> RESOLUTION 81-069 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1981 TAX LEVY, <br /> COLLECTIBLE IN 1982 AND THE 1982 CITY BUDGET <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Mayor Haik to adopt <br /> the resolution which approves the October 1981 Reserve Firefighter <br /> Uniform Allowance Policy . <br /> RESOLUTION 81-068 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A RESERVE <br /> FIREFIGHTER UNIFORM ALLOWANCE <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The City Attorney had indicated to Mr. Childs that the final plat <br /> submitted by Sid Johnson for the St. Anthony_ Court Townhouses appears <br /> to be in conformance with the preliminary plat for the project and, <br /> since Mr. . Soth needs more time to go over the final .papers, he had <br /> . recommended a foundation permit be issued so construction can be <br /> started before poor- weather sets in. Several precedents for such <br /> procedures were cited by the Council members . Mr. Johnson was present <br /> but did not speak. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> grant a foundation permit in advance of the final platting for the <br /> St. Anthony Court Townhouses on Lot 12 , Penrod Addition. <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> The Manager indicated he is looking at all legal costs including the <br /> County workhouse assessments and will return to the Council with his <br /> recommendations in -the next month or two. He also told the Council <br /> he and Mr. Hamer are developing the information to be presented to <br /> them at a special briefing prior .to the neighborhood hearings .on the <br /> City' s street renewal program. The meetings were tentatively set .for <br /> the weeks of either November 16th or December lst, with neighborhood <br /> sponsors to be sought out in the meantime. <br />
