Sharing funds by reading the Manager' s September <br /> 25th memorandum recommending the allocation of $34,600 in revenues. <br /> • No one present provided further input and the hearing was closed at <br /> 8 :02 P.M. <br /> Motion' by Councilman. Sundland .and seconded by Councilman .Letourneau to <br /> approve. the. Revenue Sharing budget for 1982 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Mayor joined with the Manager in thanking Carol Johnson and Larry <br /> Hamer for "their tireless . efforts in preparation- of the 1982 budget <br /> According to Mr. Childs , a .Minnesota flag is. being donated by the <br /> St. Anthony Legion for the new Council chambers. The two American flags <br /> flying outside the administrative- offices were donated by the VFW. <br /> Councilman Ranallo said- he appreciated Mr.. Childs ' memorandum on the <br /> staff meeting and the Manager reiterated his suggestion in that mem- <br /> orandum that a letter be sent to. New Brighton in response to rumors ' <br /> regarding the possibility of that City .building a liquor store on their <br /> border with St. Anthony on Silver Lake Road, reminding the New Brighton <br /> Council that St. Anthony had abandoned plans for- such a facility in <br /> that area -because of resident opposition. . Mayor Haik said . she believed <br /> a .one-on-one contact by St.. Anthony .Council members with their New <br /> Brighton counterparts might- be .more effective, suggesting one point <br /> • to be made might be that St..
