CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> November 10 , 1981 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Haik at 7 :30 P .M. <br /> Present for roll .call: Marks , Sundland, .Haik, Ranallo and Letourneau. <br /> Also present: Dave Childs , City Manager; William Soth, City Attorney; <br /> and Carol Johnson, . Clerk/Treasurer. <br /> During the discussion of the Council' s October 27th minutes , Mr. <br /> Childs told Mayor Haik he has a .meeting scheduled with Ramsey County <br /> Highway Department officials to discuss the County's returning the 10 <br /> foot easement along Silver Lake .Road which was dedicated to them by <br /> Gordon Hedlund and .which is now required for the development of the <br /> St. Anthony Townhome Court under the Hedlund PUD. <br /> _ Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> approve as submitted the minutes for the regular Council meeting <br /> held October 27, 1981 , . and for the special Council meeting held <br /> November 3-, 1981, to certify the general election results . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Letourneau <br /> to grant a heating license to All Season Comfort, Inc. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Accepted as an agenda .addendum was the request for beverage licenses <br /> for the new owners of the former Pizza Palermo in Apache Plaza. The <br /> Manager said the .request had been checked out by -the Police Depart- <br /> ment and told the Council the new owners operate a similar business <br /> in Blaine. <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Ranallo <br /> to grant beer and wine licenses to David .Rohde for Antonio' s Pizza <br /> in the Apache Plaza Mall. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded .by Councilman Marks to <br /> approve payment of all verified claims listed in the November 10 , <br /> 1981 Council agenda as well as $5 ,681. 88 to Short-Elliott-Hendrickson, <br /> Inc. for engineering services related to the sanitary sewer diversion <br /> on Stinson Boulevard and $158 to Twin City Testing for soil testing <br /> on the Anthony Lane watermain project. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Prior to accepting the September Police Department report; it was <br /> noted that only thirteen of forty-five crimes reported had been <br /> screened by the Police Investigator .for active investigation and <br /> prosecution. Mr. Childs explained Investigator Engstrom is indicating <br />
