-6- <br /> Mr. Childs pointed with pride to the City 's 1981 Audit which indicates <br /> that, in spite of $10,8 ,000. in cuts and fund delays from the State , <br /> the City' s General Revenue for the past year exceeded expenditures <br /> by over $120 ,000 , with the Liquor Operation- transferring $375 ,000 <br /> to the General Fund. <br /> The Council- also noted the Hennepin County resolution which authorizes <br /> installation of a pedestrian crossing signal if a senior highrise <br /> project is developed on Kenzie Terrace as proposed. <br /> Mayor Sundland- reported his June 29th letter to Governor Quie op- <br /> posing- the discontinuance of the Federal Surplus Program in Minne- <br /> sota is being used as a model for the letter to be sent out by the <br /> Association of Metropolitan Municipalities . <br /> Motion by Councilman Rana`1lo and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to <br /> adopt the resolution which designates the Wilshire Park Elementary <br /> School Gym as Precinct #3 following redistricting- by the State . <br /> RESOLUTION 82-034 <br /> A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A NEW PRECINCT <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to <br /> adopt the resolution proposed by the Finance- Director to establish <br /> • a formal policy on records retention for the City. <br /> RESOLUTION 82-035 <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING RECORDS.
