ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> August 24 , 1982 <br /> Mayor Sundland opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance at <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> Present for roll call: Enrooth., Sundland, Ranallo and Marks . <br /> Absent: Letourneau. <br /> Also present: David Childs , . City Manager; Ronald Berg, Administrative <br /> Assistant; William Soth, City Attorney; Carol Johnson, <br /> Finance. Director; and Larry Hamer-, Public Works <br /> Director. <br /> The Mayor who had not been in .attendance for the Council 's August 10th <br /> meeting, suggested it might be helpful to have the City Attorney prepare <br /> a paper clarifying certain questions which had been raised during <br /> that meeting related to the controls the City .has over the Kenzie <br /> Terrace redevelopment project area, specifically as to the length of <br /> leases which can be entered into by .the. landlords, occupancy permits , <br /> and exactly who. will be granted relocation compensations once the <br /> properties are. acquired by the H.R.A. Mr. Childs told the Mayor he <br /> has already set up a system for closely monitoring all police calls , <br /> • neighbor complaints, thefts or disturbances in that areain the next <br /> six months . <br /> When the City Attorney told Mayor Sundland he could still amend the <br /> minutes for. the last meeting he had attended, the Mayor suggested the <br /> following modifications to the July 27 , 1982 minutes : <br /> Page 1, last para: Substitute "prior. to -that._--for`"previous" in;-the <br /> last_ line. <br /> Page 2 , para. 2 : Add "which passed unanimously . " to end of 'the <br /> paragraph. <br /> Page 6 , para. 3 : Insert "he would -not-be in favor of beer license, <br /> but. . . . " following "The Mayor said" in the first <br /> line. <br /> Page 8 , para 1 & 2 : Correct spelling of "Gates" to "Yates" . <br /> Motion by Councilman Enrooth and seconded by Councilman Ranallo. to <br /> approve the additional amendments for the minutes of the Council meet- <br /> ing held July 27, 1982. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. \ <br /> • Councilman Letourneau arrived at 7 : 35 P.M. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded- by. Councilman Marks to approve <br /> as submitted the minutes for the Council meeting held August 10 , 1982 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br />
