-2-
• Resolution 82-041 had been tabled during the August 10th meeting so staff
could contact Hennepin County to ascertain whether the parking restric-
tions would have to be applied all the way to 36th Avenue N.E . on Silver
Lake Road when County Road . D is rebuilt. Vern Genzlinger ,and Al
Herzog of the Hennepin County Department of Transportation were present
to discuss the parking restri.ctions..which would be required for the
project in that area. Mr. Herzog indicated on a drawing of the inter-
section of Silver Lake Road with County Road D that 500 .feet would be
the minimum requirement south of the intersection to accommodate the
meridian planned for that corner. . This would leave 300 feet north of
36th Avenue N.E. on which parking restrictions would not be necessary ,
according to Mr. Herzog. . Mr. Genzlinger told the Mayor he believes
there have been no major changes made in the. plans for that inter-
section since. 1979..
