ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> September 27, 1983 <br /> The meeting was opened at 7: 30 P .M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led <br /> by Mayor Sundland. <br /> Present for roll call: Marks , Ranallo, Sundland, Letourneau, and <br /> Enrooth.. <br /> Also present: David .Childs, City Manager; William Soth, City Attorney; <br /> Carol Johnson, Finance Director; and Ray Nelson, <br /> Liquor Manager (later in the evening) . <br /> Councilman Ranallo requested the following amendments and clarifications <br /> of the minutes for the September 13th Council meeting: <br /> Page 4 , para. 9 : Lines 1 and 2 should be rewritten to read, "Council- <br /> man Ranallo questioned whether a 60 foot cooler was <br /> needed or could be moved that easily. He wanted the <br /> cost of setting up the operation looked at very care- <br /> fully so the City could make some money. He indicated <br /> he would favor. . . . . . " . Line 7 should be rewritten <br /> to indicate it was Councilman Ranallo who had <br /> recommended the Planning Commission should begin the <br /> • search for a replacement location for the warehouse <br /> facility. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to <br /> approve as amended the minutes of the meeting of the Council held <br /> September 13, 1983. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> In her September 22nd memorandum listing. license and permit applica- <br /> tions , Lila Johnson had also reported for the Council ' s information <br /> that, withthe application from the C.G. Rein Company for nine amuse- <br /> ment devices licenses, all the licenses formerly held by Chick' s <br /> Billiards had now been reserved. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> grant a temporary 3 .2 beer permit to Berger Transfer, for the consumption, <br /> but not sale, of beer during their company picnic to be held in the <br /> Central Park Pavillion from 5 : 00 P-.M. to 8:00 P.M. , either October 18th <br /> or 19th, depending on weather conditions . <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye : Ranallo, Letourneau, Sundland, and Enrobth. <br /> Nay: Marks . <br /> • Motion carried. <br />
