J J CITY OF ST. ANTHONY COUNCIL MINUTES • November 8 , 1983 The meeting was opened- at 8 :00 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Sundland. Present for roil call: Marks, Ranallo, Sundland, Letourneau and Enrooth. Also present:._ David Childs , City Manager. Motion by Councilman- Marks and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to approve as submitted the minutes of the Council meeting held October 25 , 1983. Motion carried unanimously. I-lotion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to grant a heating license to All Season Comfort, Inc. , New Brighton. . Motion carried unanimously. In discussing the claims listed in the Council agenda, Mr. Childs explained that the three unemployment compensation claims against the City liquor operation would be paid from liquor funds and therefore only the compensation claim for a former staff member would have to be approved by the Council. He also told Councilman Enrooth the claim for engineering services on the - sewer rehabilitation project on Edward Street was for their study of whether reconstruction of the line at a higher elevation would be feasible. Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Marks to approve payment -of all claims. listed in the November 8, . 1983 Council agenda as follows : 1. All verified claims listed for September 30th and November 8th. 2 . $1, 840 to Doty & Sons for. excavating for repair of the water-sewer line on Edward Street N.E. 3. $736 to State of Minnesota for unemployment compensation for a former City employee. 4 . $885 to Dorsey & Whitney for legal services during August, 1983. 5. $837. 27 to Short-Elliott-Hendrickson, Inc. , for feasibility study for rehabilitation of water-sewer line on Edward Street N.E. 6 . $1 ,179 . 71 to Short=.Elliott-Hendrickson, Inc. for preparation of preliminary .plans .for the watermain replacement on 37th Avenue • N.E. , -between Silver Lake Road and Highcrest Road. Motion carried unanimously.
