-6- <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Makowske to adopt the resolution <br /> • which designates the St. Anthony National Bank as the official depository for <br /> City funds. <br /> RESOLUTION 85-005 , <br /> A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL <br /> DEPOSITORY FOR CITY FUNDS <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> In his January 8th memorandum to the Manager,, a copy of which was distributed to the <br /> Council , Don Hickerson, Chief of Police; had stated the reasons for signing a two <br /> year contract with White Bear Animal Control rather than the previous provider, <br /> Minnesota Animal Patrol Services. A proposed contract with WBAC had been provided <br /> in the agenda packet and Mr. Childs indicated he concurred with Chief Hickerson 's <br /> recommendation, especially since the costs of the two proposals for animal patrol <br /> services had been very competitive and in view of the -controversy which had arisen <br /> regarding MAPSI 's service in Minneapolis: <br /> Motion by 'Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to adopt the resolution <br /> designating White Bear Animal Control , Inc. to provide animal control services <br /> on behalf of the City of St. -Anthony. <br /> RESOLUTION 85-006 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND <br /> CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT WITH <br /> WHITE BEAR ANIMAL CONTROL, INC. <br /> Motion carried .unanimous:l;y. <br /> Motion by Councilman Makowske and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to adopt the <br /> resolution which authorizes the change in the Public Works union contract which . <br /> would eliminate the Assistant Mechanic position. <br /> RESOLUTION 85-007 <br /> A RESOLL9ION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br /> THE LOCAL ADDENDUM TO THE AGREEMENT' BETWEEN THE METROPOLITAN <br /> AREVMANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION, REPRESENTING THE CITY OF <br /> ST.
