_10- <br /> RESOLUTION 87-005 <br /> A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL <br /> DEPOSITORY FOR CITY FUNDS <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Resolution 87-006 Deferred <br /> Action on the resolution approving the agreement with the Minnesota <br /> Department of Transportation was deferred to the next Council meeting <br /> for further review by the City Attorney. <br /> Three Planning Commissioners Appointed <br /> The Council had interviewed eight candidates to serve on the Planning <br /> Commission, January 5th, and took the following action to fill <br /> Commissioner Bowerman'.s unexpired one year term and the two three year <br /> .terms which had expired in 1986. - Commissioner Jones had not sought <br /> reappointment to one, of these positions and Commissioner Hansen was <br /> reappointed to the other. <br /> Council Action <br /> Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Enrooth to appoint the following <br /> residents to serve on the St. Anthony Planning Commission: <br /> Ron Hansen, 2704-32nd Avenue N.E. 3 year term <br /> Steve London, 2828 Coolidge St. N.E. 1 year term <br /> John Wingard, 2509 W. Armour Terrace 3 year term <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Bids Accepted for Well #4 Motor Replacement <br /> Before acting on Mr. Hamer' s January 7th recommendation related to the <br /> above, Mayor Sundland reported overhearing the Public Works Director <br /> seeking quotes for the. project' s electrical components. The Mayor said <br /> he believed Mr. Hamer should be complimented for not being satisfied <br /> with only one bid to provide that service. <br /> Mr. Childs indicated the bids for the electrical would be submitted for <br /> Council approval when they have been' received,, but it appears now that <br /> the complete project would not exceed the budgeted amount of $23 ,000. <br /> Council Action <br /> Motion by Ranallo, ' seconded by Marks to accept the low bid of <br /> $12 ,800 . 00 from the Layne Minnesota Company for the replacement of the <br /> • motor in Well #4. <br />
