1 -2- <br /> 2 *Gary Harvey, 3004-31st Avenue N.E. , for the Honeywell softball <br /> 3 tournament to be held in Central Park from 4:00 to 10:00 P.M. , <br /> 4 July 31, 1987; <br /> 5 *William Myers, St. Anthony Fire Department, for a department softball <br /> 6 tournament to be held in Central Park from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. , <br /> 7 August 15, 1987 ; <br /> 8 *St. Charles Borromeo Womens Club for the annual steak fry to be held <br /> 9 on church property, September 25, 1987. <br /> 10 Voting on the motion: <br /> 11 Aye: Sundland, Ranallo, Enrooth. <br /> 12 Nay: Marks. <br /> 13 Motion carried. <br /> 14 CLAIMS <br /> 15 Motion by Marks, seconded by Sundland to approve payment of the City <br /> 16 accounts payable listed for June 30, 1987 in the July 14,1987 Council <br /> 17 agenda packet and the July 14, 1987 listing which had been distributed <br /> 18 by the City Manager before that meeting. <br /> CMotion carried unanimously. <br /> 20 Motion by Marks, seconded by Enrooth to approve payment of $2,274.76 to <br /> 21 Bruce A. Liesch Associates, Inc. as the City' s share of consulting costs <br /> 22 connected with the consultants' participation in the meeting with the <br /> 23 U.S. Army et al related to assumption of responsibility for the City' s <br /> 24 water contamination problems and the follow-up letters issued by Bruce <br /> 25 Liesch Associates following that meeting. <br /> 26 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 27 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Enrooth to approve payment of $24,896.08 <br /> 28 to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission for June sewer services. <br /> 29 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 30 Motion by Marks, seconded by Sundland to approve payment of $38,561.46, <br /> 31 to Norwest Bank as a certificate payment for the motor grader purchased <br /> 32 by the Public Works Department. <br /> 33 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 34 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Marks to approve payment of $1,517. 32 to <br /> 35 the Dorsey & Whitney law firm for legal services during May, 1987. <br /> 036 Motion carried unanimously. <br />
