ANTHONY <br /> CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> 3 JANUARY 24, 1989 <br /> 4 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. with the Pledge of <br /> 5 Allegiance led by Mayor Sundland. <br /> 6 ROLL CALL <br /> 7 Present for roll call: Marks, Ranallo, Sundland, Enrooth\ <br /> 8 Makowske (at 1:32 P.M.) <br /> 9 Also present: David Childs, City Manager <br /> 10 Sue VanderHeyden, Assistant to the City Manager <br /> 11 Larry Hamer, Public Works Director <br /> 12 JANUARY 10, 1989 COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> 13 Motion by Marks, seconded by Enrooth to approve the above as presented. <br /> 14 Mgtion carried &nanimously. <br /> is CLAIMS <br /> 16 Motion by Marks, seconded by Ranallo to approve all City Liquor <br /> 17 operation accounts payable for December 31, 1988 and January 17, 1989 - <br /> 18 <br /> 98918 as listed in the January 24th Council agenda packet. <br /> 19 Notion carried unanimously. <br /> 20 Councilmember Enrooth indicated he couldn't recall approving a 5% raise <br /> 21 in the City's support for the Northwest Suburban Youth Service. He was <br /> 22 told the agency had submitted a request the previous summer which based <br /> 23 the raise on the supporting cities' populations which had been included <br /> 24 in the 1989 budget approved September 27, 1988. Councilmember Makowske <br /> 25 arrived in time to vote for this in the following motion: <br /> 26 Motion by Marks, seconded by Sundland to approve payment of the <br /> 21 following as listed in the January 24th Council. agenda: <br /> 28 *$1,819.00 for 1989 dues to the Association of metropolitan <br /> 29 municipalities; <br /> 30 *$9,466.00 to Rieke-Carroll-Muller Associates, Inc. as the final <br /> 31 construction cost and reduced billing to reflect actual engineering <br /> 32 estimates in conjunction with the St. Anthony Boulevard Reconstruction <br /> 33 Project; <br /> • 1 <br />
