• Regular Council Meeting <br /> 2 June 25, 1991 <br /> page 9 <br /> 4 <br /> programs at this point in time. <br /> Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve Ordinance No. 1991-005 <br /> 9 being an ordinance requiring multiple dwelling property owners to <br /> 10 provide recycling collection for their tenants; amending Section <br /> 11 310.70; Section 530, Subds. 5 and 6 and Section 530'.05, Subds. 1 <br /> 12 and 3 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances <br /> 13 <br /> Motion carried unanimously <br /> 15 <br /> .16 Mayor Ranallo suggested that businesses in the 'City should be encouraged <br /> 17 to become more involved - in recycling. The Chamber of Commerce has invited <br /> 18 a speaker to its September meeting to discuss business recycling programs. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Mayor Ranallo requested the Bulletin reporter. to work with the - <br /> 21 Council and specifically with Councilmember Fleming to draft a press <br /> 22 release. Form and content were to be considerations. <br /> 23 <br /> 23 D. Ordinance Codification, Consideration of Sections 1000-1220. <br /> 25 The City Manager advised that no Council action is being requested on <br /> 2b this ordinance at this point in time. He is requesting that Council- <br /> 26 forward their comments regarding Sections 1000 to 1220 as <br /> 27 <br /> 76 he is working with the City Attorney on this matter. The work must <br /> �9 be done by the end of the year. <br /> 30 Mayor Ranallo had concern with individuals soliciting in the City and <br /> 31 <br /> 32 requested this be addressed by staff. The City Manager noted that <br /> 33 some cities place a ban on this type of activity. The legality of this <br /> $3 prohibition was questionable and the City Manager will request the <br /> 35 Police Chief to review it. <br /> 36 11 .
