1 IX. Ad Hoc Committee. There was a discussion of its role. The general consensus <br /> • 2 was to review if Council and Planning Commissioners can and/or should be part <br /> 3 of the Committee. The Ad Hoc Committee will provide input for the corridor <br /> 4 study area of Kenzie Terrace. <br /> 5 X. Comprehensive Plan Revisions. The Council discussed the possibility of a joint <br /> 6 meeting with the Planning Commission to discuss updating the land use plan of <br /> 7 the Comprehensive Plan and of neighborhood groups being used as a <br /> 8 resource. <br /> 9 XI. Housing Maintenance Code. General discussion indicated that a stricter code <br /> 10 is needed. Staff has received copies of codes from other cities and is in the <br /> 11 process of updating the code. <br /> 12 XII. South End Storm Water Update. Staff has been in contact with the engineer <br /> 13 and expects a report within the next 45 days. <br /> 14 XIII. Business Exteriors. Staff will research what other communities have done to <br /> 15 establish architectural controls for existing and proposed businesses. <br /> 16 XIV. Trees on 33rd and Silver Lake Road. Council directed staff to determine if the <br /> 17 spruce trees planted on this corner are set back far enough from the corner. <br /> 018 XV. Water Service to Lowry Grove.
