• 1 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 2 NOVEMBER 26 , 1991 <br /> 3 PAGE 10 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Report of Councilmember Fleming <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Councilmember Fleming had nothing to report at this time. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Report of Councilmember Marks <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Councilmember Marks attended a Sister Cities meeting in <br /> 13 Columbia Heights . The Sister City of Columbia Heights is <br /> 14 Lomianki,, Poland. He noted a resident was at the meeting <br /> 15 who had travelled to Lomianki and had many interesting <br /> 16 comments to make regarding his experiences . Councilmember <br /> 17 Marks also gave some information about the recent trip of <br /> 18 the St . Anthony Orchestra to Salo, Finland. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Councilmember Marks stated he felt Mayor Ranallo did an <br /> 21 excellent job as Master of Ceremonies at the D.A.R. E. <br /> 22 concert . <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Report of Councilmember Enrooth <br /> 25 <br /> 26 On November 25th, Councilmember Enrooth attended a <br /> 027 meeting of the Village Fest Committee. The Thoreson ' s <br /> 28 resigned as Chairpersons of the Village Fest . <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Alternatives were discussed for leadership but - no <br /> 31 conclusions were reached. A meeting is scheduled for <br /> 32 December 19th where direction of the Village Fest will be <br /> 33 discussed as will the future of this community <br /> 34 celebration . <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Councilmember Enrooth observed that a core group of <br /> 37 leaders is necessary for the celebration to continue and <br /> 38 a Chairperson is definitely required. He noted that the <br /> 39 Treasurer gave a report stating that there funds <br /> 40 remaining. Mayor Ranallo expressed his hope that the <br /> 41 Village Fest will continue and grow. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 B. Report of the City Manager <br /> 44 <br /> 45 The City Manager reminded the Council of a Council work <br /> 46 session on the first Tuesday in December . <br /> 47 <br /> 48 The City Manager distributed copies of a proposal <br /> 49 received from BRW, Inc . This material addresses a work <br /> 50 program and cost proposal for site planning, streetscape <br /> 51 design and land use planning for the City of St . Anthony. <br /> •52 He stated he had selected BRW as consultants as most of <br /> 53 the work can be done in-house. <br /> 54 <br />
