He noted that the tennis courts are <br /> 13 scheduled for resurfacing before Village Fest . <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Councilmember Fleming attended a seminar sponsored by the <br /> 16 Government Training Service in St . Cloud. Budgeting was <br /> 17 the main topic . She will report on this at the next <br /> 18 Council work session . At the seminar it was noted that <br /> 19 residents are not afraid of change, but rather are <br /> 20 concerned about the unknown . <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Report of Councilmember Waaner <br /> 23 <br /> 24 On behalf of the Garden Club, Councilmember Wagner <br /> 25 thanked the Council for the Certificate of Appreciation <br /> 26 received. <br /> 27 <br /> 8 Mayor Ranallo requested he be apprised of any such <br /> matters of recognition or special awards as he would like <br /> to be kept informed . <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Councilmember Wagner noted that most people feel that CUB <br /> 33 will definitely be moving into the area of Apache Plaza <br /> 34 Shopping Center. He feels the reality of the matter is <br /> 35 -that everyone is waiting for Dennis Cavanaugh to address <br /> 36 this matter. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 He and the City Manager met with representatives of Super <br /> 39 Value today. He observed that Super Value appears to be <br /> 40 very enthusiastic to go ahead without having the City pay. <br /> 41 all of the "freight . " Super Value has indicated a comfort <br /> 42 level with working with the City' s bond counsel , <br /> 43 Springsted Financial Advisors and the City' s legal firm, <br /> 44 Dorsey & Whitney. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Councilmember Wagner as well as other interested parties <br /> 47 will be meeting with Dennis Cavanaugh on April 15th. <br /> 48 <br /> 49 He noted that CUB has indicated an interest in public <br /> 50 financing such as a Tax Increment Financing District .
