Both Jeremy Rice and Tony d'Agostino <br /> 21 played last year and it is quite an honor to play again . <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Mayor Ranallo attended the recent Cable Commission <br /> 24 meeting where he received some information regarding <br /> 25 cable television which the Council has not received in <br /> 26 the past . <br /> ONThe Mayor received a very large book which addressed the <br /> 29 transfer of ownership of the cable company . He felt the <br /> 30 City' s franchise may be placed in a position of liability <br /> 31 with this transfer . He ' requested that staff review the <br /> 32 book very carefully and highlight areas in the material <br /> 33 which may be significant for Council - discussion. He <br /> 34 suggested that the time used by staff to do this be' <br /> 35 charged to the cable franchise fees . <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Funds were approved by the Cable Commission to purchase <br /> 38 a large screen television . Classes have been scheduled to <br /> 39 teach residents how to use cable television equipment . <br /> 40 These are four week sessions and the fee is $15 . 00 for <br /> 41 residents and $30 . 00 for non-residents . Persons using <br /> 42 cable equipment must be certified to use it . <br /> 43 <br /> 44 <br /> 45 C. Report of the City Manager <br /> 46 <br /> 47 1 . Sheik ' s Restaurant , Apache Plaza, Re: Amusement Devices <br /> 48 <br /> 49. The City Manager noted that he had relayed to the owner <br /> 50 of Sheik ' s Garden Restaurant and to his legal counsel , <br /> 51 the Council ' s message regarding concerns that his <br /> 404 <br /> proposal for numerous amusement devices is too large in <br /> number and some of the Councilmembers felt the devices <br /> should strictly focus on younger children . <br />
