The resident perceived the need <br /> 9 to get a definite commitment from Mr. Bona as to what <br /> 10 he' s going to do with his property. Mr. Burt said it <br /> 11 might be possible to tie Mr. Bona into a redevelopment <br /> 12 agreement since the City has tax increment money for this <br /> 13 area. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 4. Ad Hoc Parking Committee <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Mr. Burt reported the Ad Hoc Parking Committee had met <br /> 18 twice and, as requested by the Council, had made the four <br /> 19 proposals in the agenda packet. These suggestions were <br /> 20 proposed as possible ways to accomplish the issue of <br /> 21 image and neighborhood aethestics versus the proposed <br /> 22 Parking Ordinance. The Manager indicated the Committee <br /> 23 perceived the community had a good over all image but <br /> 24 these suggestions were aimed at the two percent of <br /> 25 citizens who don' t seem to have the same neighborhood <br /> 26 pride or standards as the rest of the Village. The <br /> 27 Committee perceived one or a combination of suggestions <br /> • 28 might be implemented. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 a. Property Maintenance Code <br /> 31 <br /> 32 The Committee perceived a need to expand the Housing <br /> 33 Maintenance Code to be reported at the next- Council <br /> 34 meeting. They suggested the addition of a provision <br /> 35 which called for keeping all property within the <br /> 36 confines of the property lines in a "neat and <br /> 37 orderly" manner. This addressed not only parking <br /> 38 but some issues similar to those covered in the <br /> 39 City' s Nuisance Ordinance. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 b. Permits <br /> 42 <br /> 43 This suggestion would require all properties with <br /> 44 commercial, recreational vehicles, recreational and <br /> 45 utility trailers or watercraft to get a permit. The <br /> 46 permit would be granted only after discussion with <br /> 47 the neighbors on specifics related to location, <br /> 48 length of storage, screening and minimal <br /> 49 maintenance. The City Attorney had pointed out the <br /> 50 difficulty in taking back a permit once it is <br /> 51 granted. Mayor Ranallo indicated he would expect <br />
